MemeChef is run by Code Cowboy Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong (codecowboy.dev). By using memechef.ai you agree to these terms. We may update them from time to time; the current version is always on this page. Questions: contact@memechef.ai.
Acceptable use
Don't use MemeChef for anything illegal, for harassment or hate speech, for sexual content involving anyone who looks under 18, for non-consensual intimate imagery of real people, for political disinformation, or to try to break, scrape, or reverse engineer the service. Breaking these rules means we can delete your content, suspend, or ban your account without warning or refund. You can also delete your own account at any time.
Ownership and content
You keep ownership of anything you upload. By uploading, you give us permission to process and display it so we can run the service for you. We won't use your photos or generated images to train AI models made available to other users. MemeChef itself (the name, the logo, the site, and everything we've built to run it) is ours or licensed to us.
Paid features
Subscriptions and credits are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Credits are consumable and aren't refundable once used. If you're in the UK or EU you have the usual statutory cancellation rights for purchases you haven't started using.
No warranty, limited liability
MemeChef is provided "as is". We can't promise it will always work, be secure, or produce what you had in mind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for anything connected to your use of MemeChef is capped at the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing here excludes liability we can't legally exclude.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Hong Kong law. Disputes go to Hong Kong courts, unless local consumer law in your country gives you the right to sue at home.
